Hi there!

My name is Sophie and I am a gorgeous Seal Point little girl. Everyone who has met me so far smiles and kisses me, and says how pretty I am. I have had a lot of moves in my short life, but that hasn't made me shy at all. I am barely two years old, and that means I have lots of energy to play! Chasing strings and little bouncing balls are my favorite, and oh boy, do I adore my catnip ...mouse!

I like to curl up in a lap or next to you, and get my cuddles and scratches. Foster Mom says once you pet me, I love to roll over and give you my tummy for a belly rub. I like to wait for you to come into the room and then run up to you and put my paws up to be held and loved.

I have a little something extra to give, too! I am a polydactyl. Foster Mom says that means I have an extra toe and claw on each foot. I can "make dough" with them on you, because I love doing that :) Of course, it takes a teeny bit more care to clip my extra nail on each paw, but I am a good girl and will try to be a little lady during my manicures. Sometimes we polydactyls are called "Mitten Cats" :)

I have been in a few different homes, since my first owner had to move around a lot. I was very good in all of them, but I am so tired of the moving game. I am longing for a home with one young kitty brother or sister to play all day with, and a loving family, who will keep me there Furever! Could that be you???

Update from Foster Mom (7/28/15):

Sophie is a great kittyt! She is wonderful with children, enjoys being around them and playing with them, great with most other cats, is affectionate and friendly to people, knows her name and will come when called. She is a bed sleeper, and loves to chase toes under the covers, and then cuddle in for the night. Unfortunately, one of her new sisters is not accepting her, and so this is not conducive to Sophie's finding a permanent home here. She has developed into a wonderful companion, but foster mom's oldest cat has become ill and is not adjusting well to having another cat in the home. Please consider giving this lively, playful, and beautiful girl a home? She is a most enjoyable and lovable kitty!
