Hello, my name is “Cirrus” and I was born on 9/30/13 which makes me almost 1 1/2 years old.  I’m a Lynx Point Siamese mix and came from a hoarding situation so I am  happy to be in my foster home. I’m grateful to the people at the vet’s office who rescued me.  They also rescued "Nimbus" ( she is either my daughter or sister).  

I was scared when I came to my foster home but now that I've been here a while, I have become braver. It is nice and quiet here but I am still just a little skittish. 

Initially, foster mom thought we should be adopted together. But then she realized that it would be okay if we were adopted separately. Nimbus was adopted 04/27/15.  (Update: 4/30/15 Since Nimbus left, Cirrus has asked for much more attention.  He also sits on foster mom's lap all the time!  He should probably go to a home that either has another cat, or, has someone who is home much of the time.)

Cirrus should be in a reasonably quiet home with people who have patience.  He is a gentle and sweet-natured cat. Cirrus is also a submissive cat and rolls over on his back immediately for tummy rubs when someone is near.  He has come a long way in a short time and now likes to sit next to foster mom and sometimes, he even sits on her lap.

He may always be a skittish cat; the kind of cat that hides when you have company.  However, he follows his foster mom all over the house so he obviously wants to be around his owner(s).  He LOVES the laser toy and has learned to recognize the device and gets very excited when he sees it.  He also loves to play with the wand toy (a gray fabric mouse).

All MISR cats/kittens are FIV/FELV negative, neutered/spayed, have all necessary shots and all health issues have been addressed.  The adoption fee for Cirrus is $150.00.
