Hello my name is “Hakuna” and my sister’s name is “Matata,” Yes, our names are from the Lion King song Hakuna Matata and means “no worries. We were born on May 11, 2014 and will be 5 months old on October 11th.We have not been “fixed” yet since we are too young. We have been through a lot and are very close so we would like to be adopted together. I know we would be happier.
We are new to MISR and while we were at the Humane Society, we both contracted upper respiratory infections. We have been treated with antibiotics and are feeling much better. Also, Matata pulled one of her nails out and it was infected but now it is completely healed and she no longer has to wear a bandage or the "collar of shame." Our foster mom says we are very affectionate and friendly. I love to snuggle and like to rub my face against foster mom’s face.I purr like crazy and love attention. Both of us are fine with being picked up and held as long as you are gentle.
Hakuna and Matata are FIV/FELV negative and have had their first and second shots. Hakuna's adoption fee is $150.
MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets.
