Sadie is an 8 year old Siamese/Persian with blue eyes. While her fur
is longer and thicker she does not mat. An indoor cat only. She is
very afraid of other cats. Therefore "the only pampered kitty". She
is spayed.
She is a quiet cat, independent and is prone to burst of batting and
chasing toys or anything fluffy, easy to bat. She occasionally likes
to go on "run a thons" through the house!
While not often a lap cat she likes to be in the same room as her
people. Lies on the back of the sofa in the evenings with family near
by. She will rub and purr against her people. She has never clawed or
bit. If she doesn't like something she will make a complaining meow,
maybe growl, then run off.
She has always had access to a scratching post and corrugated scratch
forms. She does not scratch furniture.
Typically a firm voice is all she needs to stop a behavior that one
does not like. She will then run off.
She has lived with one family since a tiny kitten and has only known
love and kindness.
Sadie has a room mate who is older and had always enjoyed being the
"princess". Thus since Sadie's arrival "Chloe" has made a point of
picking on Sadie. The years have not changed that. On occasion due to
the stress and frustration Sadie has urinated outside of her box.
Always uses the litter box for feces though.
She has never tested pos for UTIs and discussions with her vet leads
to the opinion of a behavior problem due to intimidation by the older
roommate.
So in an attempt to give Sadie a home where she can relax, be the
special only kitty and shine, she is looking for a special person.
