Hi Everyone.. Just an update to let you all know I am doing great with my
cone on while my neck wound finishes healing. Doctor did not want me to
"forget" it was there and accidently scratch it with my back foot. So I am
just chillin out on Miranda's toddler bed which is now my bed. Miranda is a
"grandkid" and I have not met her yet but I know she loves cats and would be
happy that I am enjoying her old bed and her fuzzy Blankie:) Oh yeah I love
to look out the window. Foster Mom put a bench in front of the window so I
can look out at all the goings on--cars, kids on bikes, squirrels burying
"stuff", a Big Brown Truck that says UPS, whatever that is. I am a very very
lucky boy to have met MISR people. More later!
Meet Emil. He is a Seal Point and just gorgeous. But most of all he is very friendly and affectionate to his humans. As soon as his foster Dad met him, he was giving head butts and rubbing his face all over Foster Dad. He was equally friendly at the vet's office where the staff fell in love with him with many saying they would take him home if they did not already have 4 cats or 6 dogs and 3 rabbits, or.....well you get the picture (grin). He gave kisses to everyone. They estimate he is neutered and about 1 year old and is now up to date with vet work.
He came to MISR as an abandoned cat with an injury--a wound under his chin that needed surgery with quite a few stitches. A wonderful lady found him and called MISR for help.
But with all that he has been through, he still is this affectionate guy who is so very greatful for a second chance, in spite of a wound with stitches that must be uncomfortable.
We are very happy to have this guy in foster care--he is a joy to have around--but we hope that very soon he will find his forever home with his very own people to snuggle with! More pictures to come.
MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets.
