Mrrrow! My name is Winston and I am a very handsome and distinguished
gentleman looking for a forever home where I can give my humans love
and companionship. I have had a very unsettling life these past 7
years. I have gone from home to home as each time a catastrophe
occurred and I had to be moved.
I know, there are all those cute kittens out there, but there are lots
of good reasons to adopt a mature cat like me. For one thing, what
you see is what you get- a 15# hunk of headbutting, purring love! I
get along peacefully with other cats- dominant ones, timid ones, no
problem. I love chin scratches and ear rubs and having my thick,
plush coat groomed with a grooming mitt. Who knows what that kitten
will grow up to be like? And kittens, after all, are like kids-
climbing curtains, chewing cords, pouncing on your feet at 4a.m.
Whereas I know the house rules, so to speak.
Indoor cats often live into their teens, so I still have years of love
to give! The vet pronounced me healthy; I'm FIV/FELV negative, I have
had had my rabies & distemper shots and have been wormed. The local
humane society said that I was "too old" to be adopted- won't you
prove them wrong? I'd love to meet you purr-sonally!
