Tristan is a stunning seal point with an enormous head and gorgeous face. His blue eyes just glow out of that seal mask. He is approximately 4 years old, and seems to have come from the school of hard knocks. His coat is in poor condition, one ear tip has a small nick out of it, his nails were scraggley (now trimmed). It was only earlier today (3/4/04) that he was pulled form a scarey animal control facility, then transported through the combined efforts of MISR and Purrs Abound to make his way to safety and a foster home. Less then an hour after his travels, he was crouched outside his crate in his isolation room, and flinched a little when I walked in. As I crouched down and started talking, he came right over, a little hesitant, but talking softly the whole time. When I offered to rub his ears and stroke his back, you would have though this cat just died and went to heaven from the volume and intensity of his purring. What a nice boy. Don't know too much more about him yet, other then he is very docile (he let me, a stranger, drag him by his scruff and front legs out of one crate and stuff him into another during the transport without any struggle, hissing, or protests), and he seems receptive and non aggressive to other cats.
