Hi everybody!!! My name is Cross-eyed Charlie. I’m not really cross-eyed but sometimes I cross my eyes to be silly in front of the camera. I’m a Lynx-point Siamese mix and I’m about 1 ½ years old. I’ve been staying with my foster meow-my for about 6 weeks now but I am really hoping to find my forever family soon. So I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself: ummmm……well, mommy says I’m one of the coolest kitties she’s ever met. She says I’m a real “ham” (I hope she knows I’m a cat and not a piggy) and also one of the most happy go lucky, easy-going kitties she’s ever met. I love eeevveerryyybody; all my foster kitty brothers and sisters and of course all my humans too. Mommy is so amazed at how friendly, affectionate, and down to earth I am, especially considering how cruel and heartless my last owners were to me. They decided they didn’t want me anymore so they just dropped me at the side of the road in the middle of winter and left me to fend for myself. I wandered around the Howell area for a couple weeks trying to find them and ask what I did that was so wrong as to deserve this, but I never found them. Eventually, my worries turned more to just finding a place to warm my freezing cold paws and getting some food in my tummy. I got lucky cuz the people from Animal Control finally found me and gave me a warm dry place to stay for a while. They said I could only stay for two weeks though, then I would have to “go to sleep”. I already love to sleep a lot so I don’t know what they were talking about. Anyway, my foster meow-me saw me on Petfinder.com and decided that my life was definitely worth saving, so she picked my up from the shelter just in the nick of time and here I am!!! I had no problem putting the rough part of my life behind me and made myself right at home here. Mommy calls me her big cuddly teddy bear cuz……well……I am kind beefy (I’m not fat though, I’m just big boned) and I luuvvvvv to cuddle and be held. I do like to give gentle love nips once in a while (though mommy taught me not to use my teeth when I do) so I probably shouldn’t go to a home with kids under 5 years of age. Other than the rare love nip or two, she says that I’m one of the best behaved kitties she’s ever had. In fact, she loves me so much that we have talked about her becoming my forever mommy. But that would mean one less kitty like me that she could save in the future, so I decided that it would be better if I moved on when my perfect loving forever family comes along to adopt me. Will you be my forever family?
