Greetings World! I arrived at my foster's on 1-26-10. My name is Jazmin and my foster aunt says she thinks I am about 11-12 months old. (That's like being a teenager in human years:)
She also thinks I am the kind of Siamese called a Color Point Shorthair/Blue Lynx (Point) and maybe even a purebred cause I have many features that purebreds have--loooong thin tail, loooong body, big ears, semi wedge shape head. (She watches Cats 101 on the Animal Planet Network.)
When Auntie saw me I was in a glass viewing room at the shelter along with a couple dozen other cats. I got along well with all of them but when I saw Auntie I ran up to the window and stood on my hind legs trying to get her to play with me.
Long story short--here I am at my foster home in The Princess Suite and happy, purring and rolling around and throwing myself at my Foster Dad so he can rub my belly and my tail and my head and everything. I am TOTALLY not shy. I want to see everything, explore everything, and climb. On my way in to my room I saw a giant cat tree and can't wait to check it out!
My room has a special screen door on it so I can see out and everybody can see me. I love to pat my fellow cats through the screen. They sit all day long hoping I will come out soon and join them. And......I think I'm in LOVE. There is a HOT looking Flame Point boy cat out there I can't wait to play with. His name is Bugsygetoutoftheway. This is his Forever Home. So far I have been able to pat him on the head through the screen door. Sigh! Too bad we are both fixed (GRIN). He SOOOOOOcute.
I am a very active girl so if you are looking for a 24/7 couch potato its not me. (Try my new sister Misty for that....she is the ultimate couch potato and lay-in -the-sunshine-and-watch-TV potato:) Also I am learning Human Socializing Manners. These humans have something called skin instead of fur and I get so wound up playing that I forget how sharp my teeth can be on human skin. I now know that when they scream EEEKKKK NO, that I have to back off. I am very very smart so I am forgetting less and less.
So please come to meet me. My Foster Dad lives in Novi.
Auntie here: Jaz is playful and active and I can see her swinging on the chandalier if there was one. She is true to so many of her breed as adventuresome and curious.
