ATHENA HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING.
Athen is a pretty and playful Flame Point Siamese kitten. She is approximately five months old and was brought in as a stray.
She is a lively kitten and gets along very well with the older cat in her foster home. Athena likes to play, so she might enjoy being with a cat near her age. Having a young friend may make a difference in her happiness but we don't know if she NEEDS to have a friend.
Athena also gets along with the resident dog, but they mostly ignore each other. She likes to sniff him sometimes, but they aren't really playmates. Athena can get very jealous when another animal gets petted and she isn't getting attention.
Athena enjoys having someone to play with her and give her attention. 01/27/23 Update: Athena does not mind being picked up and she will sit on foster mom's lap. She also likes to get in bed next to foster mom’s head at night. She doesn't stay all night, but she will stay for a while.
Athena is a little skittish and seems to be afraid that someone might pick her up. Once she has been picked up she is fine and doesn't fight it. Foster mom had to give Athena eye drops and maybe that is why Athena doesn’t like getting picked up.
All MISR cats have been FIV/FELV tested and are current on rabies and distemper. All known health issues have been addressed. Athena is located in a foster home in Brighton and her adoption fee is $200.
