Haku is the sweetest toasted marshmallow you’ll come across! He is a medium haired Flame Point Siamese, estimated to be around 1-1.5 years old. He gets along well with other cats and continues to have a kitten-like demeanor still and loves love!
He was found as a stray at the end of July and after working through his initial treatments and health concerns he is ready for his forever home!
Haku likes: almost any toy, but oh man! The wand toy, laser pointer, and anything with cat nip are definitely the favorites. Cheek and chin scratches and being brushed! FOOD! Foster mom definitely recommends measured/scheduled feedings for him as he will try to entice you with his cuteness for more food!
Foster mom has not noticed anything he dislikes so far. Except, he does not enjoy car rides but nothing some calming drugs can’t fix. He’s also a bit squirmy for his nail trims but foster mom can do them alone if she holds him on her lap like a baby.
Foster mom believes he may be more of a lap sitter as he gets used to his new people. He has been allowing foster mom to hold him for longer periods of time. He has used the litter box perfectly and scratches his post like a good kitty should (: He really is such a special boy!”
Haku is neutered, FIV/FELV tested, current on distemper and rabies, and all known health issues have been addressed. He is located in a foster home near Grand Rapids MI*. His adoption fee is $200.
*Foster mom lives next to Grand Valle State University which is approximatel 1 hr. 55 min. from Brighton MI.
