Star is a pretty, eight-year-old, female Siamese Lynx Point mix born in January of 2014. She is calm, friendly and LOVES to talk to her humans. Star is affectionate with her family and any friend/stranger who will give her pets.
Once she gets to know you, she will sit on your lap or on a blanket beside you. Star is a confident gal and is happy to bird watch or find a comfortable spot to take a nap while waiting for her humans to come home. Star also enjoys playing with crinkle balls and will give a feather teaser a good chase.
Sadly, Star has to find a new home through no fault of her own.. Her current cat mates recently started picking on her and will not stop. Her owners have tried everything even keeping the cats in separate parts of the home. We have no idea what caused this dispute but things are so uncomfortable that the owners have made the very difficult decision to place Star in a new, calmer home.
Stars idea of a perfect home is with someone who wants a friendly, sociable cat. It could be a single person, a couple, or family with older children. Star has never been in a home with young children, and we are not willing to take a chance that they would scare her. So, no small children. Star may be okay sharing her home with a respectful dog/cat. We think it is just her two current cat mates that don’t like her anymore.
Star has moved many times with her owners and is quick to adjust to new homes; however she will need a little longer to adjust to a new family too. Her adoption fee is $150 and she is located in Okemos MI.
