Brier is an affectionate, playful young Flame Point Siamese boy born on July 22, 2020, so he just had a birthday (one-year-old). Brier came to us from another state. His owners tragically lost their lives and Briar was left completely alone. He does not attempt to go outside when foster mom goes in and out of the house. He enjoys bird watching and looking out an open window (but it needs to have a good, sturdy screen).
Brier is a little shy at first and foster mom gave him a few days alone in a room before he was ready for company. He came out and calmly got acquainted with the other cats within 15 minutes. Now, he is having issues with the two other cats. We don't know if this is because they are all males and it is a territorial thing.
When strangers are in the house, Brier is cautious about making an appearance. But, when he does come out, he is reasonably friendly to strangers.
Brier does not feel comfortable around children. Whenever foster mom's 6-year-old grand daughter is over...Brier will hide.
He’s a good kitty and will give lots of love if you are gentle with him. He enjoys sitting next to you and often sleeps in the middle of the bed. Brier seems to be adjusting well from his loss. Won’t you make this little boy happy and give him a loving forever home?
All MISR cats are spayed or neutered, current on rabies and distemper, FIV/FELV tested and all known health issues have been addressed. Brier is located in a foster home in Bowling Green OH. Bowling Green is about 1 ½ hours south of Brighton MI. The adoption fee for Briar is $200.
MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets.
