Hi, my name is Rickey and I am a very handsome one-year-old Seal Point Siamese, born on February 23 2020.  I was given as a companion to someone who had lost her spouse, but things just didn’t work out.

I was never neutered (not sure why) but I was having “accidents.”  I was taken in by MISR and they had me neutered and updated on vaccines. The vet found that I had urine crystals and said I need to be kept on a moist  diet with only minimal dry food, probably forever.

I am what is often referred as a “special needs kitty.” This is important to any potential adopter because the moist food is necessary so that I do not get recurring crystals.  Changing my diet would likely result in me being in a lot of pain with urine crystals, getting sicker and you being unhappy with my having “accidents.” It eventually could kill me.

I love attention, belly rubs and give head butts in return to show my affection.

I am a very happy-go-lucky kind of kitty and would love to live in a home as an only cat.  A stress-free home is what the vet and my foster people strongly recommend (no children, no dogs, and no other cats).

I love my people and will reward you with love and affection. I’m also a pretty lively kitty and love to play, look out the window, follow you around the house, etc.

All MISR cats are spayed or neutered, FIV/FELV tested, current on rabies and distemper, and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Rickey is $200 and he is located in a foster home in South Lyon MI.
