Pooka-boo.......I see you!
This is Pooka. He is getting used to being picked up and carried. He loves to curl up in the bottom of the tripod kitty stand on his back and watch the birds and chipmunks on the patio. His litter box habits require a covered litter box, since he is one of those guys that overshoots the back end. He loves to chase a rattle ball and leap into the air to catch a soft ball. He loves to play with me with a long fleece strip on a handle. He follows his mom around and wants to be near her, but isn't a lap cat. He will throw himself down on one of the area rugs, stretch out full length, and want his back and tummy scratched while he wriggles and rolls and purrs. He does like gentle head butts and kisses on his forehead. He likes to play hard, but has learned not to scratch or bite. He kneads when he is being petted and sometimes wants to groom me and will nibble at a finger. He is learning to have his claws clipped without a struggle since he is pretty strong willed and doesn't like it. He is a talker, although not as much as a really talky Siamese can be. He doesn't usually sleep with his humans, although he will sometimes curl up on the bed for awhile and then go off to explore at night. He likes to be under something, like a table or chair or a flannel sheet thrown over a foot stool. Or he likes to be up on the back of chair so he can get a good view of the birds. He will not allow anything around his neck. Pooka hates being alone in a room if he knows you are home.
