WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SIMON, 06/05/20

Simon is a very handsome, male, four-paw-declawed Siamese Seal Point, born on April 8, 2016. He is sad and a little scared now since he had to leave the only home he has known since he was a kitten. The new baby tested positive for cat allergies so Simon has to leave.  He can’t understand why the baby gets to stay; after all, Simon was there first!  But Simon has accepted his fate and is hoping for a new home where he will get all the love and attention he deserves. 
Note: Because Simon is four-paw-declawed, he cannot go to a home with dogs.

His previous owner describes Simon as: social, very sweet and mellow, playful (when he wants to be), mildly talkative and used to a meticulously clean, uncovered, litter box with unscented litter (Dr. Elsey’s). Simon will gently paw at your face, likes to sit on your lap, and will seek you out for attention. (His previous owner said the children were not allowed to pick up Simon. So, he cannot go to a home with children under ten.)

She also said Simon is the gentlest kitty and would never hurt anyone. He is spoiled and has cat tree towers, a number of litter boxes, several beds, and lots of toys. He likes to be near his people, and sleeps in the master bedroom. Simon enjoyed being petted, loved, and played with by his entire family. His owner said she knows she is biased, but he really is the best cat ever!  

Simon comes when called, especially when a tongue click and finger tap is included. He literally does nothing wrong. She said Simon is a “if I fit I sit” cat, so he will sit in any bag, box, basket, etc, it is the cutest thing! His ideal home would be with people who are beyond child-rearing days so he never has to find a new home again. Simon belongs in a home where people are home much of the time.  He does not like to be alone.

So, if you have room in your home and heart for this sad but hopeful little boy, please complete an application for his adoption.

All MISR cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Simon is $150 and he is located in a foster home in Novi.
