RAJAH HAS BEEN ADOPTED
Rajah is a five to six-year old, small (6 to 7 lbs.) Snowshoe Siamese girl. She came to MISR as a terrified, hostile stray but she has made fabulous progress. Initially, only the foster dad could go near her. She charged and attacked the foster auntie. Auntie could not even get her into the carrier so foster dad had to do it.
Shortly after arriving, Rajah went into heat and was spayed. Her attitude improved greatly afterwards and she was soon comfortable enough to be integrated into the general population. Rajah gets along very well with all the cat, but she prefers playing with the kittens, Bandit, and their toys. Rajah thinks the rest of the cats are boring and ignores them
In the last week Rajah voluntarily sat on foster dad’s lap to watch television. She stays there longer and longer every day. Rajah also likes to sleep in foster dad’s bed..
Rajah would do best in a home without any children or dogs. She needs people who have the patience to help her adjust to a new home and build up her confidence. Her improvements every week show us she can be a well-adjusted companion but it will take time. She is out and about a lot and only hides when startled by noise,
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV tested, spayed or neutered, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Rajah is $125. She is located in a foster home in Novi MI.
