Tommie is about 3 ½ years old and is a gorgeous, fluffy, Seal Point Siamese. His owner says he is a very sweet, affectionate and playful cat but he is in a home with two loud dogs that make him very unhappy. He also had a stress-induced skin abrasion and his owner had to put a cone on his neck to keep him from re-opening the wound, making life even more unpleasant.
Poor Tommie is in a miserable environment and although his owner loves him, she realizes he needs a new home to be happy. He has moved around a bit with his owner and has been exposed to a number of dogs. He disliked most of them and barely tolerated some, so he needs a home without any dogs. He does, however, enjoy playing with other cats.
His owner said he likes: Feather toys, cuddling, playing with balls, sitting in the window and watching the birds, being brushed and loves getting chin scratches. Tommie dislikes: Being picked up, (he’d rather sit in your lap) and loud, big dogs.
His feeding and care needs are simple. He needs fresh water every day and one medium sized bowl of dry food every morning and that lasts for the day. He enjoys canned food too (it keeps him hydrated). Tommie likes to sleep in the bed with you or on the dog’s bed (without the dog).
Tommie needs a covered litter box because he has a tendency to lift his butt when he urinates (some cats just do that) but he has never had an accident out of the litter box.
Tommie hopes that someone will rescue him from his dismal life SOON. He needs a second chance with a person or persons who will love him and appreciate a playful, handsome, affectionate cat. Please complete an application today and rescue Tommie.
