Topaz is a gorgeous, fluffy, male, neutered Siamese Flame Point and he is about three and half years-old.  He relocated from Texas to Michigan and handled the long trip well.  He is looking for a loving person, persons, or family to give him a great home.  

Since he arrived in Michigan, Topaz has had some bad luck.  He was adopted by a great couple but the husband was severely allergic to him.  They tried pills and shots but nothing worked. They were heartbroken that they had to return him.  Then, he was adopted but there was friction between Topaz and the resident cat.

It is very sad that Topaz has to look for a home, again and it is not his fault that things haven't worked out.  Poor Travis is such a good boy.  His initial foster mom has taken him back twice and says he is a very friendly, affectionate cat.  He enjoys being around his humans.  He does like to b hoping someone sees his photo and falls in love with him.

Topaz loves to be around people and will follow you everywhere. His foster family recently had some work done in the home and Topaz supervised the workmen the entire time.  He was not afraid.  He will lie near you when you are reading or watching TV and climb onto your lap when he wants to be petted.  He will also let you know when he does not want to be petted.  If Topaz does not want to be petted, he will put out his paw in a mock scratching motion to tell you, “No, thank you.”

Topaz is also a real talker.  Foster mom said he is the most talkative Siamese she has ever met.  He gets along very well with the cat and dog in the foster home.  The dog and Topaz ignore each other but Topaz enjoys playing with the cat.

Topaz is very interested in going outside so whoever adopts him will have to be really careful when entering and exiting the home.  His former foster aunt describes him as a lovable, outgoing guy and called him the “Big Orange Kid.” She said he does not have a grumpy bone in his body.  So, if you are looking for a cat that follows you around the house and appreciates family and food, Topaz is the cat for you.  

All MISR cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, current on rabies and distemper, and all known health issues have been addressed.  Topaz is in a foster home in Brighton and his adoption fee is $150.
