Skye is a pretty, little Flame Point Siamese girl. She showed up in a neighborhood in mid-July and decided to stay since one of the neighbors was feeding her. She stayed there until the nice lady contacted MISR.
She was taken to the vet for FIV/FELV testing (she was negative for both) and her age was estimated to be 6 to 9 months.
Skye has only been in her foster home for a short time but she seems to be accepting the permanent resident cats very well. Foster mom said Skye is very friendly with the family. She is very gentle and purrs a lot and loudly! Skye was a little shy at first but she now loves to play and follows foster mom all around the house.
Once Skye recovers from her surgery, she will be ready for a loving person, couple, or family to adopt her.
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV tested, spayed or neutered, current on rabies and distemper shots and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Sky is $150 and she is located in a foster home in Montague MI (near Muskegon).
MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets.
