01/02/19 ADOPTION PENDING.
Note: Malcolm and Jayne are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Malcolm and Jayne have been together since they were kittens. They had a happy home and thought they would stay there forever. Sadly, things happened and their owner has to move to a house where they cannot go. Jayne and Malcolm are sad and confused but they are getting settled in their foster home and behaving very well.
Malcolm is a Snowshoe Siamese mix, born on March 16, 2015 (age 3 yrs. 3 mos.) and Jayne is a Seal Point Siamese, born on March 6, 2016 (age 2 yrs. 4 mos.). Both kitties have been spayed/neutered; FIV/FELV tested and current on rabies and distemper.
Malcolm’s owner describes him as a bit friendlier than Jayne (because she does not like to be held.) Malcolm likes to sit on your lap when you’re watching television and he will sometimes curl up next to you on the bed to sleep.
Jayne can be affectionate but on her own terms. She will come to you when she wants attention and will bat at your hand if she is in a playful mood.
They both like to play with toys and with each other. Jayne likes to sit on the stairs and bat at your hand through the rails.
They were raised with large dogs and got along with them. Of course, they must be introduced gradually if they go to a home with dogs and must be protected from them until it is clear they are safe. Jayne and Malcolm have not been around small children so they cannot go to a home with children under ten years of age.
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV tested, spayed/neutered, current on rabies and distemper, and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee is $300 ($150 each)--they must be adopted together. Jayne and Malcolm are located in a foster home in Novi MI.
