Philip is a gorgeous, Siamese Blue Point, neutered male, about two years old.  He is very active and friendly. He gets along well with other kitties and was good friends with the dog at his last home. (Note: Although Philip got along with a dog in the past, we cannot guarantee he will get along with every dog. The introduction needs to be handled slowly and carefully.)

Philip loves to play with kitty toys, either alone or with people. He is starting to wrestle with the young male cat at his foster home. They run and play together. Foster mom said he is an active cat; always moving, rubbing on you, wanting attention but then gone! He is okay with being picked up but he’s too active to stay for long! Philip is a talker, always making cute cat noises.  

Philip is not particularly shy and doesn’t mind well-behaved children. He also has very good litter box habits.

He had a little difficulty eating enough food when he first arrived.  This could have been due to the change in environment. Foster mom reports (5/30) that Phillip's appetite is now normal. He was very active and loud at night but foster family members worked with him and foster mom reports that Phillip's nocturnal activities have diminished.

Foster mom thinks Philip wants to be outside. He was outside before his previous owner adopted him. Foster mom is taking steps to teach him that outside is bad!  Philip loves the cat tree.  He sleeps on it at night and enjoys scratching on it. 

Philip needs a home with people who can work with his high energy level and the possibility that he may try to get outside.  For this reason, he cannot go to a home with small children or a home with a lot of activity, i.e., people coming and going all the time.

All MISR cats are spayed/neutered, current on rabies and distemper shots, FIV/FELV tested and all known health issues have been addressed.  The adoption fee for Philip is $150 and he is located in a foster home in Montague MI which is near Muskegon.
