Note:  Lady Sif needs to have her owner(s) at home much of the day.  She would not be happy in a home where people are gone for a regular work day.

Lady Sif (Sif for short) is an incredibly affectionate, extremely talkative, dilute Tortoiseshell Point Ragdoll mix. She was born on October 28, 2015 and is a big girl with lots of fur that requires frequent brushing.   She is named after Sif, the Asgardian warrior, friend of Thor, who fought against Loki and the Marauders (a band of galactic pirates).  It was all quite exhausting and now, she just wants a good home.

Sif is a confident cat and insists on getting attention.  She is gorgeous and knows it. Sif wants to be at the top of the cat tower, hoards all of the best jingly balls, carries around the biggest stuffed toys, and pushes everyone away to get the little red laser dot or the feather on a stick.

Sif will curl up and sleep on your head or chest, purr loudly and nuzzle you to let you know she loves you. Despite being a big ball of love, Sif can be a diva; she will knock things off the counter to get your attention and will cry if you close the door with her on the other side.  She doesn’t really want to be in with you…she just wants the option!

Sif was born in the home of her original owner but she bullied the older, timid cat. After unsuccessful attempts to resolve the bullying issue, her owner reluctantly surrendered Sif to MISR so the other cat could have some peace.

Lady Sif would do best in a home with no other cats. She previously lived with large dogs and loved them. Sif responds to her name and will come running from the other side of the house when you call her. She will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a big, vocal princess to spoil for the rest of her life!

All MISR cats are neutered/spayed, FIV/FELV negative, up-to-date on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed.  The adoption fee for Lady Sif is $150 and she is located in a foster home in South Lyon.
