Note: Prince William DOES NOT LIKE TO BE PICKED UP. He growls and is very frightened. For this reason, he cannot go to a home with small children unless we see some improvement.
Prince William is an adorable, nine-month-old, neutered Seal Point boy. He was lost and alone probably thinking about that old Hank Williams song, “So Lonesome I Could Cry.” Anyway, a nice lady felt sorry for him and began feeding him. She already had quite a few pets, so she brought him to her vet’s office to see if they could help find a home for him.
Another nice lady in the vet’s office had previously fostered for MISR and gave us a call. Now Prince William has a name, is in a great foster home and is learning how to enjoy regular meals, other cats, and humans. His foster mom says he has a nice, friendly personality, knows how to use the litter box, and is an active and playful cat. He was a bit scared and a little hissy but he is getting better. It will take time to get used to the other cats in the house but he is doing quite well.
Foster mom said that Prince William is a "talker" making all sorts of little noises. She said it is adorable!
Prince William is looking for a forever home. He does not want to go back to the lonely streets. Because Prince William is so young, he needs to go to a home where he won’t be alone for long periods of time. His new home should have people who do not work long shifts or travel a lot. He would probably be more comfortable in a home with another cat reasonably close to his age.
Prince William’s adoption fee is $150 and he is located in a foster home in Montague MI. All MISR cats/kittens are FIV/FELV negative, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed.
