OSCAR HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING., 04/04/18
Oscar is a handsome Siamese Seal Point boy. He was wandering around a neighborhood for several months when a cat-loving lady noticed him. She started to feed him and he kept returning. She realized he was someone’s pet so she posted notices, looked online, checked with animal control, etc. but was unable to find his owner.
She worried about him and contacted MISR to see if we could help. Her husband, also a cat friend, actually stayed home from work one day so he could catch Oscar and bring him to MISR. Oscar is very grateful for the kindness and concern of the nice lady and her husband.
Oscar has been checked out by a vet and is in good health. He is FIV/FELV negative, neutered, and the vet thinks he is about two years old. At 14 lbs., he is a large, but not obese cat. His foster family loves him and says he is calm, sociable, enjoys being petted, and is fairly comfortable around company. He doesn’t run away from company but after checking them out, he may disappear. Oscar does not like it when people are loud.
Oscar likes to go off by himself when it is nap time. He prefers to sleep in a place where he won’t be disturbed.
Oscar gets along with the children in his foster home and allows them to pick him up and carry him. He would probably be okay in a home with well-behaved children over the age of seven.
Oscar is happy to be inside and is looking for a forever home. He would like a home where people will love him and appreciate that he is such a well-behaved boy. His foster mom said he is a "super nice cat."
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV negative, spayed/neutered; current on rabies and distemper shots and all known health issues have been addressed. Oscar is located in a foster home in Novi Mi. His adoption fee is $150.
