We don’t know where Eevee started her sad, little life but she was first discovered out in the country with a group of stray cats. She lived outside for awhile and had a few litters of kittens before she was brought to the attention of MISR.
Now, she is in a nice foster home where she is safe, warm, and well fed. Eevee has been wormed, treated for fleas, tested for FIV/FELV, and spayed.
The vet thinks she is 3 to 4 years old, and is a Seal Point Siamese. The vet also said that her “cropped” ears are a congenital issue and not the result of frostbite or a fight. Her foster mom refers to them as “teddy bear ears” and says Eevee is a darling, sweet, baby girl. She says Eevee will melt the heart of anyone who meets her. Eevee is shy and will need someone with patience who will allow her time to adjust to a new home at her own speed.
Although Eevee lived with a group of feral cats, we think she started out as someone’s pet since she is friendly and affectionate towards humans. She appeared to get along with all the other cats in her colony.
Eevee is very relieved to be indoors and safe. She is looking forward to finding a forever home. We are not sure if she would get along with dogs or with small children.
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV tested, current on rabies and distemper, spayed/neutered and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Eevee is $150 and she is in a foster home in South Lyon.
