Sammy is a male, neutered, four-paw declawed, Chocolate Pointe Siamese, born in 2010. He lived with his two loving owners and had a very happy home. Sadly, one of his owners passed away. In the winter, Sammy cannot travel with his remaining owner to the Florida condo because they do not allow pets.
While his owner’s son or a neighbor checked in on him every day, Sammy spent most of his time alone in the winter months. His owner loves Sammy but has made the difficult decision to ask MISR to find a new home for Sammy where he will get the attention he needs and deserves. He doesn't want Sammy to have any more lonely winters.
His owner said Sammy is a great cat! Once Sammy gets to know you, he will be on your lap every chance he gets. He also enjoys playing with balls, wand toys, and on his cat tree. He has excellent litter box habits and, while Sammy is somewhat talkative, he is never a pest.
Because Sammy has only lived in a quiet home, we don’t think he would do well in a noisy environment, i.e., small children, dogs, etc. We don’t know if he would get along with another cat since Sammy has always been the only cat in the house.
Sammy is a gentle, playful cat and he is looking for a quiet, forever home with people who will give him love, plenty of attention and plenty of play time. Can you make a place in your home for this very handsome and worthy boy?
The adoption fee for Sammy is $125 and he is located in St. Clair Shores, MI. He will be visiting the vet soon (he goes every year) and will be up-to-date on rabies and distemper.
