My name is Obie. I’m not sure if I’m named for the Obie Awards, or Obi Wan Kenobi. Anyway, I am a very handsome, young-acting, 10-year-old, solid (17 lbs.), neutered, male Seal Point Siamese. My fur is very dark and that makes my eyes look really blue.
I just arrived at my MISR foster home. My owner had to give me up because she is having back surgery. She will be incapacitated for a long time and unable to care for me. So, she made the difficult decision to find another home for me.
I had blood work done in February and the vet said all results are within normal limits. I’m also up to date on rabies and distemper. I am a friendly boy and get along with people and other cats.
In fact, my foster mom said I am the most affectionate cat she has ever met. That means I need to be in a home where my humans are home a LOT! I would be miserable if left alone for long periods of time. I am also very vocal and enjoy getting massages.
I’ve already made myself comfortable at my foster home but I am looking forward to finding a forever home. I hope there is a loving and kind individual or family out there who want(s) a large (but on a diet), friendly, affectionate, with a great personality, Siamese boy.
The adoption fee for Obie is $125. All MISR cats are FIV/FELV negative, current on rabies and distemper, neutered/spayed, and all known health issues have been addressed.
