April was born on March 20, 2016 so she is almost nine months old. She is a Lynx Point Siamese mix (with Himalayan ears...according to her foster mom). She is spayed and ready for a new forever home.
April came to us from a local humane society. She had an upper respiratory infection and needed to get daily medication. Of course, this made it difficult for April to build a friendly relationship with her foster mom. Who wants to be friends with the person giving you medication?
Now April no longer needs the medication and she has been away from the noise and confusion of a humane society for awhile so she is beginning to relax a little. She is still shy but she is allowing people to pet her and seems to like human companionship.
April would do best in a home with adults and no children. We don’t know if she will get along with dogs or other cats. It is possible that with a slow, careful introduction, she may adjust to another cat.
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV negative, spayed or neutered and up-to-date on rabies and distemper. Her adoption is $150. She is in a foster home in South Lyon.
MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets.
