I am Gena, an 18 month old, Flame Point Siamese with pretty orange point markings. I was found outside with my Mom. I soon had a little son name Gabe. Gabe found his Forever Home pretty fast. The people who found me thought I was a feral kitty, so they trapped me and had me "fixed." When a rescue traps and spays or neuters a feral cat, they nip the tip of our ear, so we can be recognized as "fixed."
However, the kind lady who found me felt I was not feral and took me home to be fostered with her other kitties. I really am a sweet baby, and I liked the other foster cats that were calm and not bullies. But, I am shy and scared easily by loud noises or sudden movements.
The nice lady who fostered me had to work a lot, and she wanted me to be with someone who was home a lot to help me learn to be less shy.
So, here I am in a new foster home! I really like it here! I get lots of catnip toys to play with, a comfy new bed, and a patient foster Mom who understands I like petting but not being held...yet. I love to head butt her for pets, especially when I see she is trying to work....;)
I think in a few weeks, I will be a lot more relaxed and ready for my Forever Home! I can be with another cat, but no little kids, dogs, or a lot of noise. I would love a quiet home with a Loving Mom and/or Dad. Will that be YOU???
