RIO HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING.

Rio is a handsome.Lynx Point, neutered boy.  The vet thinks he was both born in March 2016.

Note: Initially, we thought that Rio and Tio had to be adopted together but they have shown to be independent and can be adopted separately.

In late August 2016, Rio and his friend, Tio, were caught by a group that does “Trap, Neuter, and Release.”  Tio and Rio were NOT FERAL but they were neutered and had an ear clipped to identify them as both feral and neutered.  Rio and Tio are pragmatic about being neutered but they are livid about having their ears clipped!

MISR has taken them in and promises to find a great home for them.

Both boys are now about nine months old. They appear to be reasonably comfortable with humans and are fairly calm considering what they have been through.

Rio would probably get along with other cats but we don’t know if he can tolerate either dogs or children.  We’ll have to wait and see how they adjust to their new foster home.

All MISR cats are FIV/FELV tested, up-to-date on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Rio is $150.
