Bayli is a beautiful 2-year-old Seal Point Snowshoe female that had the misfortune of either falling or being thrown from a high rise building in NYC.
Luckily she "only” has an injured leg to show for her experience, but she had the double misfortune of being taken to a very high-kill animal control facility.
Despite her pain and the scary environment, she impressed the staff with her friendly and affectionate manner. Unfortunately, the center opted not to treat her injury and put her on the euthanasia list as soon as she finished the mandatory 3-day stray hold.
Thankfully, her pretty face and loving personality inspired a cat lover in MA to work with a dog rescue in NYC and have her transported to safety. She is recovering nicely in a guest room at her foster home, but she really needs a forever home where she can get the attention she craves.
Bayli is doing well with the 4 1/2 year-old, cat savvy boy in her foster home. She does not seem to have experience with dogs (based on her half-hearted receptiveness to the foster home's dogs). She would probably be okay with a well-behaved dog that is cat-friendly. Bayli could probably get along with another cat but she would need a gradual introduction.
Please give this deserving girl the happy ending she craves.
Note: Bayli can be transported to MI around Aug. 22nd. Also, she will be spayed after she has recovered from her injury.
Her adoption fee is $150.00.
