My name is “Jax” and I am an affectionate, Siamese Flame Point boy.  I am neutered and about 7 months old.

My coat is really soft and I have very blue eyes. I am shy at first but every day, my confidence grows. However, I still need to have my own space to help me feel safe.

Foster mom says I have really come a long way since I arrived and was feeling so scared.   Now, I can sit on her lap for purrs and loving. I like to dash out of my play pen and chase the other kitties and they chase me.

Foster mom says she can pick me up and love me without me first running to my safe place every time. I would say I am a "work in progress." Once I trust you, I will give lots of head butts and purrs, and I’ll sleep nicely on your lap.

I love other kitties and I am getting to love and include people in my circle of family.

Foster mom says I shoud NOT be in a house with children or a dog.  I am just not a brave cat.  I am scared by noises and sudden movement.  I would be a very unhappy cat and the children would be very unhappy that they could not play with their kitty.

Foster mom thinks I would do best as an only cat in an adult home.  I may get along with another gentle cat but I can't promise that I will.

I'm looking forward to getting a home of my own!
