12/21/15 LOLA HAS AN ADOPTON PENDING
Hi, my name is “Lola”. You know the song, “Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets.” Well I hope that describes me. All I really want is a good home with people to love me, good food, water and a clean litter box.
I am an adorable Chocolate Point girl. Informed sources guess I am almost 4 months old. A kind man wanted to save me from being out in the cold. He contacted MISR, and through a lot of networking and fosters working together I got into a great foster home with a family and older children.
(Note: Lola was tested and is FIV/FELV negative. The photo of her outside was taken before she was rescued. She must be an indoor-only cat like all MISR cats.)
Now I am safe and warm and get to snuggle with family members. I also purr when I’m petted. Oh, forgot to mention, I love to eat. After having to “live off the land,” I am very grateful to not have to chase my food.
I went to the vet and got my distemper and rabies shots (meowouch!). They also gave me worming and flea stuff and I sure hope that’s it for now! They were nice but it was a new and scary experience for this girl cat.
Just FYI, in my new home, I need to have another young kitty to play with, and, please, no small children. My outdoors experience has left me a bit skittish and small children frighten me.
My adoption fee is $200 plus there will be a $100 refundable spay deposit which will be refunded when you submit proof of my spay…………eek! That does not sound like fun.
Lola's Location: Lola is in a foster home located in Montague, MI which is north of Muskegon. It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Brighton MI to Montague MI.
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV negative, current on rabies and distemper shots, and all known medical issues have been addressed.
