Hello my name is “Matata” and my brother’s name is “Hakuna.” Yes, our names are from the Lion King song Hakuna Matata meaning “no worries. We were born on May 11, 2014 and will be 5 months old on October 11th.We have not been “fixed” yet since we are too young. We have been though a lot and are very close so we would like to be adopted together.
We are new to MISR and while we were at the Humane Society, we both contracted an upper respiratory infection. We were treated with antibiotics and are feeling great! Also, one of my nails got pulled out and then it got infected. It is now completely healed. No more big pink bandage or "collar of shame."
We are still working on getting some better photos. I am not very cooperative because as soon as foster mom comes in the room, I want her to pick me up.
Our foster mom says we are affectionate and purring machines. We are also quite playful, especially late at night. My adoption fee is $150.
Hakuna and Matata are both FIV/FELV negative and have had their first and second shots. Matata's adoption fee is $150.
MISR always accepts donations of lightly used cat carriers, cat trees/towers, and polartec delivery blankets.
