MAX HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING.

Hello, my name is Max and I am a handsome, Lynx Point Siamese Rag doll mix born in March 2009 so, I am about 5 years old. My owner asked to have me “put down” just because she was tired of having pets!  Can you imagine??!  I was shocked and my feelings were really hurt.   But a lady at the vet's office asked MISR if they would take me and they were happy to have me!  I am very grateful to her for helping to save my life.

I’m neutered, FIV/FELV negative and quite fluffy.  I am really, really affectionate and love to rub up against my humans.  I also enjoy being scratched under my chin and I LOVE to be brushed.   

It took me a while to get comfortable in my foster home but now, I'm fine with being picked up and like to sit on my foster mom's lap, or lay on the sofa next to her.  I follow her around the house but not all the time.  

Not to brag, but everyone who has met me describes me as “sweet.”  My foster mom says I am “gentle.” She thinks I am a great cat.

I will probably get along with other cats and maybe even dogs since I came from a home with another cat and a dog.  I have never been around children so I don't know if I'm okay with them.

I’m somewhat outgoing but if my foster mom has company, I usually run away and stay upstairs until the people are gone. This is something that may change with time.

3/26/14 Update from the foster mom:  Max appears to be a bit timid but only with one of his foster cat sisters. She is three-years-old and for some reason, goes after poor Max. He gets along fine with with his foster cat brother who is about 10 years old and has a Zen-like attitude. Max will likely get along with other non-aggressive cats.

I hope there is someone out there who will give me a second chance at a home where I will be loved forever!! 

All MISR cats are neutered/spayed, FIV/FELV negative, have current rabies and distemper inoculations.  Any known health issues have been addressed.  The adoption fee for our cats or kittens is $150.
