My name is Mindiana Jones, Mindi for short. I am a part Siamese and I am looking for a home. I got my name because when my foster family found me I weighed 4 pounds, was anemic, dehydrated, and covered in black muck.....I had been attacked by a wild animal. I was sitting on the side of a country road waiting to die because I counldn't run anymore I was too sick. You see, I am fixed and declawed on all four feet so I had no way to protect myself or catch food. My foster family was on their way to their annual couples get away when they found me. They were kind enough to postpone their trip to find a vet that would look after me until they got home. When they came to pick me up at the vet's office they were surprised to see I was a Siamese. I had been so covered in muck and sticks they couldn't tell what color I was. When they took me home they gave me to a little boy who loved me and gave me plenty of TLC. It was months before I was brave enough to leave his bedroom. I slept in the closet close to the food and water. Finally, I decided it was ok to explore the house so I went down stairs. There were other nice children and adults to pet me and even a couple of dogs. Everyone treated me with kindness and was patient with my fears.
I now weigh 14 pounds. I was full grown when my foster parents found me so they aren't sure how old I am. My doctor thinks I am about 4 years old. If I have a nice home and a boy to love me why would I want to leave? Because, my foster parents find many, many strays like me and they ALL need help. I need a home where I am not asked to be with female cats and where I am never asked to go outside. In three years I have only found the courage to go outside 4 times it is just too scarey for me. Can you give me the home I need and deserve?
