Hi everyone, my name is Andrew…..that’s MISS ANDREW. Yessssshhhh, I am a girl, can’t you tell by my overwhelming beauty and statuesque figure? The truth is, I am just getting over some gender identity issues. You see…..I was rescued from a house that had 80…yep, count ‘em…8-0 other cats. I was raised as a boy by my former owner but, now that I know I’m actually a girl, I’m feeling much more normal. I’ve always liked to do stuff like cleaning my nails and primping my adorable snowshoe paws but it wasn’t socially acceptable to do this in front of 79 other cats, especially when I was suppose to be a boy. Now at my foster mommy’s house, I get treated like the little princess that I really am. The boy kitties here tell me that I’m really purrrrdy too. I’ve even learned to hold my tail up high and strut my stuff, just like my foster sister does. She’s actually the queen bee here but she’s teaching me how to be a future queen bee. At first I was nervous and didn’t like the other kitties here. I think, for some silly reason, I was afraid of them. They were all so nice to me though that now I play with them, especially Cross-eyed Charlie. I think he fancies me. He likes to kinda wrestle with me but I tell him I don’t wrestle cuz it’s not very ladylike (that is, after I flip him on his big fat head). Even though I’m in training to be a queen bee, my foster sister says it’s OK to be affectionate toward my human. My favorite thing to do is come up and rub against your leg then roll around doing summersaults when you pet me. I didn’t used to mind being picked up either but lately, I think it might tarnish my sophisticated image so I’m not letting my foster mommy do it as much. I still let her love me and give me kisses and stuff though. I’m thinking I’d like a forever family that doesn’t have really young kids. I don’t think I could handle all the commotion of little kids running around after the environment I lived in for so long…..sheessh, I could barely move, the house was so packed with cats. I would probably be fine as an only cat, especially since I am studying to be a queen bee. I suppose I wouldn’t mind maybe one companion though if he is nice and passive. My foster mommy says I just need one quick set of shots, then I’ll be ready to go to my new, forever home. Are you ready to take me home with you?
