Mishka means little bear in Russian, a name that seemed fitting since not only does this boy have a terrific fur coat he was also found living rough in a state park up north. He was probably dumped there by someone as he really was in the middle of nowhere, and that was where by an outrageous stroke of good fortune he found himself at the door of some cat-loving Good Samaritans. These people took the time and trouble to locate Michigan Siamese Rescue and then not only drive many hours to bring him down state to us but also give us a generous donation to help with his vet work etc. A lot of work for one cat but he is certainly worth it. Mishka has a very sweet, affectionate, laid-back personality and will purr at the slightest thing. He loves to be petted and is happy to be brushed - something that his long, thick coat is going to need on a regular basis. We would estimate him to be about 4 years old. With his easy-going temperament he could be part ragdoll, part Himalayan, but whatever he is one thing's for sure
- he will make the perfect companion and lap cat. And he will certainly have some tales to tell around the campfire!
