So you're checking me out, and you're wondering if I might be the right kitty for you. Will I get along with your existing pets? Am I okay around kids? I'm not going to shred the furniture, am I?
I know you have questions about me, but more importantly, I have questions about you. My name is Diana, and the circumstances that brought me to MISR have not done much to restore my faith in mankind. I spent my whole 10 years with my original family and my sister Athena. Everything was going along great. Then one day out of the blue, one year ago, my owner took us to the vet for a "routine" check-up. The doc updated our vaccinations and tests and pronounced us perfectly healthy, at which point my owner asked that the vet put both Athena and me to sleep!
Fortunately the vet knew about MISR, and our owner allowed him to turn us over to the rescue. I don't know what happened that made our owner not want us anymore. The people at MISR have been so good to me, giving me the best of everything: food, medical care, and love. But I am still so hurt and confused by my abandonment. Foster mom does her best to reassure me that I didn't do anything wrong, telling me what a beautiful tortie girl I am.
I have got quite used to living with my foster mom, but I really want a forever friend that can be mine for always.
If you would like to be that someone, please contact MISR today about adopting me.
