Hello, I’m Ariel—truly “an airy Spirit” as portrayed by Shakespeare! I was born in the Great Outdoors in May (2009), and a friend of kittens taught me and my mom (Titania) that people could be pretty nice. My foster mom has further increased my trust, and now I’m a real flirt most of the time. But when it’s time to eat, I’m right there, and I don’t miss a bite when I’m stroked or even picked up. It will probably take me a couple of weeks to have the same trust for my forever family, but you’ll chuckle a lot as I weigh the risks. And I’m very cooperative for our vet. My airy Spirit really comes out, though, when I play with mom Titania (a Tortie Point who is also looking for a Forever Family) and another kitten friend. I love the hammock my foster mom rigged up in a crate, and my favorite trick is to harass my kitten friend when he uses the litter box under the hammock! We have one of those three-hole collapsible cubes, and sometimes I sleep in it, sometimes I stalk my playmates, and sometimes they stalk me! I also like to climb the “cat tree” next to my foster mom’s bed and play with her toes under the covers after a good claw-sharpening session on the tree. I’m shaping up to be a beautiful, lithe, and entertaining companion for my forever family. My points are mostly Chocolate, but I have Tortie color on my chin, my toes, and the tip of my tail. I’ve had lots experience getting along with other cats. I’d be shy around dogs or children, but I’m very smart and adaptable, so if you’re willing to introduce us slowly, I’ll certainly explore possible friendships, and I’m agile enough to stay out of their way! If you’d like to find out more about me, or to meet me, my foster mom would be happy to talk with you.
