Kittens Policy - between 4 months and 6 months of age
•    We strongly prefer to place all kittens "in pairs" when possible, unless a companion kitty is already in the household or the kitten will have human companionship the majority of the time.
•    Kittens will not be placed in homes with children under the age of 7years, except on a case by case consideration.

NOTE: WE ALWAYS GET A LOT OF APPLICATIONS FOR A KITTEN AND IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO PROCESS THEM. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE.

Jax was found with an outside feral colony of cats in Texas. He was so friendly and social; the person who found him did not believe he was feral.  She took him to a rescue in Texas, where he stayed with his foster mom for a couple of weeks. 

Foster mom had lots of other foster kittens, and Jax wanted petting, holding and attention. She just didn't have the time to give Jax the attention he needed.  She loved him and said he is the perfect kitten. 

Because the lady was so concerned about him, Jax was sent to MISR all the way from Texas.  He is a total lover boy and fairly chill for a kitten.  We believe he is about six-months-old.  Jax has been examined by a vet, neutered and FIV/FELV tested. He is ready for a new home.

Jax adores his people; loves to be held; will cuddle right next to you; purr; make “biscuits;”, and give soft kisses.  He even purrs when you cut his nails!  He uses his litter box well, and enjoyed the company of the Texas foster mom's other kittens, plus he liked her two small dogs. 

In his present foster home, he is loving and playful, but definitely enjoys being the lap kitten and getting his scratches and pets.  He loves attention, but is not overly needy, and enjoys taking naps on his blankets.  We believe he will be a sleep buddy when he has the run of the house, as he enjoys human company.  He is a beautiful Seal Point boy, and has the cutest little husky meow. He has a long, slender and elegant body. He is a gorgeous boy!

All MISR cats are spayed or neutered, FIV/FELV tested, and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Jax is $200 and he is located in a foster home in Brighton MI
