CAMILLE HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING, 09/28/19
Kittens will not be adopted to homes with children under the age of 7 years, except on a case by case consideration.
Camille was part of the Texas caravan of kittens that recently came to Michigan. She is a fluffy, Seal or Chocolate Point Siamese mix and was born on January 15, 2019. She will be nine months old next week.
Camille is a lap cat and companion to humans. She gets along with the two resident male cats at her foster home most of the time. But she does get an occasional time-out when she is in one of her moods and chases them until they hiss at her.
Camille was finicky about getting her nails clipped and has had them done twice. Her foster mom believes that over time and with gentle training, Camille will find nail clipping more acceptable.
Camille does not care for small children and hides as soon as they arrive for a visit. We are speculating that she may enjoy being an only cat. However, there is still the possibility that she will behave if she finds the resident cat acceptable and the introduction is handled properly. We just can’t guarantee it.
Camille is very affectionate which makes texting pretty difficult with all the head bumps and loving. Her foster mom said she loves Camille and said Camille was “further endeared to my heart” after she caught a mouse in the basement. Hooray for Camille! (Where were the boy kitties?).
All MISR cats are FIV/FELV tested, spayed or neutered, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Camille is $150 and she is located in a foster home in Bowling Green, OH (about 1 ½ hours from Pinckney MI).
