Kittens will not be adopted to homes with children under the age of 7 years, except on a case by case consideration.
Kittens under 4 months of age will only be placed in a home with a dog if the dog has been previously exposed to cats and proven to be cat friendly.
10/07/19 Another Update:
Well, we have changed our opinion that Jemma and Azriel have to be adopted together. They have integrated with the other cats very well and appear to be much more independent.
Meet Jemma, she is a very pretty female, Siamese Lynx Point mix kitten born on March 23, 2019. She came here with her sibling, Jasper and a separate litter of four. They all migrated to Michigan from Texas and behaved well on the trip.
Jemma is the not like Jasper, she is somewhat shy and quiet. It may be that the trip affected her more than it did Jasper and the other kittens. Some kittens take longer to get back to normal after such a big change. Her foster mom said she is doing much better since she arrived. It is possible that she will continue to improve her social skills.
Whoever adopts Jemma should have a lot of patience to allow Jemma time to adjust. It also would be better for Jemma if she was in a quiet atmosphere. A noisy, active home would not be good for her.
All MISR kittens are FIV/FELV tested, spayed or neutered, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Jasper is $150 and he is located in a foster home in Novi MI.
