Mr. Bumbles came to his current home because his original owner said she was going to take him to the Humane Society and have him “put down.” He is a beautiful, lively, two-year-old, neutered, male Siamese/Ragdoll mix.

He was saved by a kind-hearted lady who planned to take care of him until she could find a good home for him. She already had three cats and could not keep him. However, she said she “fell in love with him” and tried to make it work. Sadly, it didn’t work.

Although she loves him, she cannot keep him because he beats up her two female cats.  In addition Mr. Bumbles wants to go outside all the time and lastly she thinks he may have an eating disorder and keeping him away from the other cats' food is difficult. 

She speculated that he is a dog trapped inside of a cat body because of the way he eats and chases the other cats.  He likes to be in a cat carrier and ride in cars.  He also gets into the trash and throws it around just like a dog!

Mr. Bumbles weighs 12 pounds and has huge paws.  He is an amazingly funny cat and the name Bumbles fits him to a tee.  He is white and big and goofy so they named him “Bumbles” after the abominable snowman.  

He was not neutered when he came to his second home and initially, there were some spraying incidents. After he was neutered in February, the vet said it would take 60 days for the testosterone to get out of his system. He has had one incident since then. It is likely that the spraying will stop soon and it will help if he is the only cat in the house.

Bumbles needs a home where: 1) he is the only cat, 2) someone can monitor his food intake, and, 3) his people are very careful when entering and leaving the house. Mr. Bumbles is very interested in going outside so he has to be watched carefully. 4) no children under 10. Also, his current owner said you must be vigilent in checking for ticks and fleas.

His current owner loves talking about Mr. Bumbles and said she knows he will bring a lot of joy to his new family.

MISR cats are neutered or spayed, FIV/FELV tested, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed.  The adoption fee for Mr. Bumbles is $150 and he is located in Leslie MI (about 20 minutes south of Lansing MI).
