Hello there! Harrison is the name of my handsome self, but you can call me Harry. I am a male, neutered, Blue Point Siamese, estimated to be about seven years old with slightly crossed, pale blue eyes. A man of mystery, I was found in the middle of a rural road by a kind couple who stopped their car and came to my aid.
I was very thin and had an awful respiratory infection. I had no collar or microchip to provide clues about my past. Thankfully, I was whisked away to a veterinarian for evaluation, and taken into the MISR organization so I could receive top notch care and begin my recovery.
These days, I don’t dwell on my past, instead I focus on my much improved circumstances and hopes for my future. I have regained a lot of weight, and now have a shiny coat, svelte physique and boundless energy. Aside from an occasional residual snuffle or cough, I am better than new.
My foster family describes me as a Velcro kitty. I love to follow my humans from room to room and sit on their laps, next to them on sofas, or in bed. Unlike many of my feline brethren, I show no preference for men or women, I love them all. I tolerate, and am affectionate towards the loud, boisterous seven-year-old boy who is staying with us. With a bit of the devil in me, I love playing with his Lego’s and knocking his Pokémon cards off the table. (I cannot go to a home with children younger than seven years of age.)
My foster family is extremely experienced with Meezers, and said they have never seen a cat even half my age with so much energy, playfulness, and stamina. I thunder through the house, bat at the plants, toss toys in the air, climb into boxes and frolic on loose paper.
I would do best in a home with someone who wants the equivalent of a dog trapped in a cat body and where someone is home a lot for playtime and companionship. It’s highly likely I would enjoy another cat or a cat savvy dog to share my new family. I show signs of a very high prey drive, so, smaller pets in cages would be at risk and aren’t recommended.
Unlike many Siamese, I am not very vocal, unless I am confined in a room away from my family. I will loudly yowl my displeasure until I am released.
Full disclosure: my foster family states I have the bad habit of wanting to jump up on the table and eat from your plate, especially leftover milk in cereal bowls. I try to be good, but it’s so tasty.
If I sound like a match, please hurry and complete an application to make me yours —I won’t disappoint you!
