COSMO HAS BEEN ADOPTED, 10/09/18

Meet Cosmo!  Or if you'd rather, Cozzy, Cozzy-Mo-Mo, or just Mose.  This one-year-old fluffer-ball is the most loving, sweet boy, who enjoys nothing more than being near his people.  Getting ready for work?  You will find him lounging on your bed, watching you with his gorgeous blue eyes.  Coming home from work?  He will likely greet you at the door, eager for a nice back scratch.  When you are in the kitchen, Cosmo will perch regally on the stool or chair nearest you and critique your cooking skills while patiently waiting for a pinch of this or that put into his bowl.  (Bacon, turkey, and fish are his favorites!)

Cosmo is a fantastic companion animal.  He enjoys being brushed and pampered.  His human big sisters give him kitty-massages while he purrs.   He loves to chat with you while you are getting his wet-food ready for dinner. The bathroom sink is a favorite vessel for him to curl into, and if the tap is running, he will drink from it. 

He loves hanging out on the side of the tub with whomever is bathing and has even fallen in a couple of times! He is a great supporter of academics - after his high school sister returns from school, he will lay next to her while she works on projects for hours.  And family movie nights are not to be missed by this guy.  He will sit and watch some of the movie until he decides he is tired and then will curl up next to one of his people. 

He doesn't mind being picked up if he is walking around, but if he is resting on a couch or chair, he does not want to be picked up and may try to nip.  Also, when he's found a spot under a bed or dresser, please don't try to pull him out or touch his feet as he has scratched on occasion.  He is also quite food-motivated and will sneak onto a counter and finish a bowl of cereal with milk (his favorite) or anything left out unsupervised.  A quiet home minus young children and with no other pets would  be the best fit for this princely guy.

Why would anyone ever part with such a dear and loving animal?  Cosmo was adopted into a family of five when he was just a kitten, along with a kitten from another litter.  The youngest child at the home was two at the time, and fairly quiet.  Cosmo, would in fact, allow her to push him around in her doll buggy.  But as the child got older and louder and faster, Cosmo was becoming visibly skittish and fearful.  He was scared and ran away  when anyone walked quickly past him, even the older family members.  He no longer stayed out in the open as he used to and his cat brother was getting all the attention.  Cosmo just wasn't happy and seemed depressed.

His family is absolutely heart-broken to have to part with Cosmo, but they realize a quiet home would suit his needs much better. They love him so much they want the best life for him.  Thank you for considering this adorable cat!

All MISR cats are neutered/spayed, FIV/FELV tested, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have beed addressed.  Cosmo is located in South Lyon MI and his adoption fee is $150.
