Sammie is a spayed, female, Snowshoe Siamese and is about 4 or 5 years old. She was rescued by a caring couple who found her when she was lost, starving, and freezing. She was terrified of people but they persevered, caught her, brought her in from the cold and fed her.
They took her to their vet for a complete physical exam including FIV-FELV testing, blood panel, urine sample, ultra sound, and worming and flea treatments. She had the works, and came out with excellent marks! The vet said she has good teeth (which is important with Siamese). Sammie also has been micro chipped.
Her rescuers said she is gorgeous with a wonderful personality. They also said Sammie is a real talker, especially when she thinks you need to know something.
Sammie has difficulty getting along with other cats so she would probably be more comfortable as an only cat. She may get along with a well-behaved dog. We don’t think she would do well around younger children, so there should be no children under 10 years of age in the home.
Sammie just moved to a new foster home and her foster mom reports that Sammie is a very affectionate, friendly cat.
Sammie is located in a foster home in South Lyon and her adoption fee is $150. All MISR cats have been FIV/FELV tested, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed.
