This pretty young girl is named “Hope.” The vet thinks she is about 8 or 9 months old. This is her story from the lady who rescued her:

I go to my deceased Mother's house daily to feed feral cats and on this day I noticed a new face; she was a Siamese cat. I thought to myself,  “Surely that must be someone's baby.”  She was so beautiful but so scared. I fed her for the next couple days along with the other feral cats and noticed she had a hard time eating.

It was so cold, with the wind-chill it was 20 below and there she was freezing.... waiting for food. I feared she was not used to the cold and may get frostbitten or or end up dead so I trapped her and brought her in my Mother's home for some warmth.

I was able to pet her gently while she crouched down in fear. I let her settle for a few days but then I took her in for a spay appointment; it was at this appointment that the Vet noticed something strange about her mouth. Upon further investigation she found that the kitty had been shot in the face, her canine tooth was shattered and the fragments from the bullet were lodged in the bone of her jaw.

The Vet had to remove a small portion of bone where the bullet was lodged then he spayed, FIV/FELV tested her and brought her current on rabies and distemper shots.

I have named her “Hope.”  Poor Hope is so scared.  I am able to pet her but she just crouches down in fear. I cannot bring her into my own home because of the number of pets I already have.

Hope needs someone with a lot of patience to teach her that humans can be nice and it is ok to trust again. I am certain she is capable of this as her eyes follow me in wonder. I believe she wants to trust again and restore her faith in humans. She is such a beautiful soul; I'm praying every day that someone can open his or her heart to this poor kitty and offer her a forever home.

All MISR cats are neutered/spayed, FIV/FELV negative, have current rabies and distemper inoculations.  Any known health issues have been addressed.  The adoption fee for our cats or kittens is $150.
