My name is Snow and I was named by my First Mom and First Grandma when I was 3 months old (in 2010) and playing in the back yard. There was this big pine tree and I would climb up it, roll myself into a ball and go to sleep on the branches. But I had to come inside where it was safe and I am glad my First Mom and Grandma brought me in.
I was a little depressed when I was brought in the house because I did not know what “inside” meant. But it was dangerous out there and being a laid back guy, I just was not cut out for the street life. We get lots of food, love and attention "inside" so I'm cool with it. I am waiting for my forever home and hope that you will like me and give me a chance. I'm really a good boy!
Human here: Snow has all his claws but never uses them on people or other cats, is FIVFeLV negative, has had worm meds and flea treatment and is around 3 years old. He was always different from the other feral cats where he was born and wanted human companionship—just like so many of the Flame Points we have rescued. (I think it is that Red Tabby gene they carry that makes them so outstandingly friendly.!)
He likes to be held like a baby and completely relaxes if you rub his tummy. He is stunningly gorgeous—with longer hair that is like angora. Very cotton-y soft and not like regular cat hair. His shedding is surprisingly minimal and likes to be brushed even when he does not need it!
The other cat with Snow in one of his pictures is his first girlfriend Ling-Ling.
